3.1 How to tell whether an installer (or salesperson) is trustworthy
Don't put much weight on a company's online reputation or reviews. They may be outdated, gamed, or simply not representative of recent project quality.
Use the most direct method instead — ask them for several projects completed in the last 6 to 12 months and demand to see the customer's post-install utility bill alongside their bill from the solar company.
Only the total spend across both — utility plus solar — when it lands well below the pre-solar bill, proves the system actually saves money.
We track post-install bills and consumption ourselves for our customers. That's how we make sure people get what they were promised.
