7.8 You give up the right to join class-action lawsuits
Most PPA contracts include a "Mandatory Arbitration + Class-action Waiver" clause. If the industry brings a class-action suit against your installer (for falsified production numbers, broken warranty promises, etc.), you cannot join it and you cannot collect from any class settlement.
