9.3 Step 2: contract review (7 must-check items)

Seven items to verify before signing:

1. System specs (panel model, inverter model, battery capacity) and warranty terms are explicitly written.
2. Pricing is a single total, not just component-by-component subtotals.
3. Workmanship warranty at least 5 years, preferably 10+.
4. Confirmed as Cash or Loan — not PPA / Lease.
5. 3-day Right to Cancel is present.
6. Mandatory arbitration / class-action waiver clause is identified (and ideally struck out).
7. Design drawings (Single-Line Diagram + Site Plan) are included in the deliverables list — so you can self-service if the installer disappears.
